May 11th, Day 4 of Rockies tour

Heading back to Vancouver today. We stopped at Three Valley Gap of lunch and did a quick tour of the local Heritage Ghost Town.
A rest stop in Kamloops ad a coffee break in Hope had us arriving in Vancouver at about 7.30 pm.

This little fellow was in the park at Hope.

10th May, Day 3 of Rockies Tour

Breakfast and on the road again by 8 am. We did a scenic tour of Banff including Banff Springs Hotel and Bow Falls. Photo stops at Two Jacks Lake and Lake Minnewanka
We then rode up the Banff Gondola for fabulous views of the area.
Lunch in Banff and then a drive along the Bow Valley Parkway to Johnston Canyon. We took a long walk here
We spent time at the Chateau Lake Louise before retiring to our accommodation in Lake Louise Village..the Mountaineer Lodge.

May 9th. Day 2 of Rockies tour

Breakfast then on the bus and ready to roll by 8 am. Some of our fellow passengers are not happy they have to rotate the first 5 row. We do not care, we are sticking to our seats at the rear. Probably 6 rows of seats free at least.
Perfect day and an unscheduled stop at Pyramid Lake. Wow the reflections were fabulous.

At Maligne Canyon we were given ample time to take a walk we saw a woodpecker and a squirrel.

Next was free time in Jasper. We bought some Subway to have for lunch later and so grateful we did as lunch was not scheduled til 2.45pm and when that time came around we were behind time and people did not have long to feed themselves. We only needed a snack

A scenic drive along the Icefield Parkway with a photo stop at Bow Lake before Banff and our Accomodation for the night.

May 8th, 2019 First day of Circle West Bus Tour of the Canadian Rockies.

We caught a taxi to the Hyatt hotel to meet the bus. We were among the last to board, everyone wanted a seat up thee front. LOL we headed to the back and ended up with a seat each fro the entire 4 days.
On the road by 8.30 on off we went, soon seeing the mountains on either side of the coach. Coffee break in a town called Hope that has many carving around the town...all carved with chainsaws
Lunch break in Clearwater and another rest break in Valemount The day was long but so many photo ops. We arrived at our Hotel in Jasper after 8 pm. We walked to town and bought a Pizza for dinner.
