CANADA...Side Trips

Have booked GEC Granville Suites Downtown for 7th May and

 also 11th to 15th of  May 

 Key West travel. Reviews are ALL good  4 days/3 nights. Approx $800 CAD + optional activities we will want to do.

Booked Circle West Tour $1997.10 CAD including 2 extra tours......Sulphur Mountain Gondala & Columbia Icefield Ice Explorer. April 8 -11 th.

• Tour departs  :8:30  am from the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 655 Burrard Street.

Looking at bagbnb to leave our large cases while on bus tour. Hoping our hotel may do that for us, but if not there are many places that provide the service for $8 per bag per day
We are allowed to take 2 suitcases each on the bus tour so all good.

AIRBnB booked for 11th - 15th. Half the cost of hotel and we can now prepare some meals to save some $$'s. The property is in the West End. Close to Shops, Cafes & Supermarket. etc. and with cooking facilities we can save on some meals for the 4 nights we will be here. airbnb Host cancelled.(Sept) money refunded. Sad but still have Sylvia Hotel booking.  Sylvia Hotel  cancelled and booked GEC Granville. All good, this one has kitchenette.

Stanley Park Totem Poles 
Capilano Suspension Bridge apparently shuttle available.
Gastown Steam clock
Lynn Canyon Park
Ferry to Victoria
Vancouver Maritime Museum
Grouse Mountain 
Whittler if we can find a frugal way to get there.and time allows.
Granville Island  Market.
Sea to Sky Gondala.  ..Transport Sea to Sky Shuttle from Vancouver

Spent 2 full days researching Rocky Mountains bus tours. Take Tours and Tours4fun both eliminated because they cater for the Chinese tourists and reveiws show non-Asian get nothing (commentry etc) and it seems they add extra $$ once you are on the tour. Going with Key West tours.
Budget Inn Patricia Hotel  has Pub/Brewhouse but apparently in a bad area, so not good at night. Will look further afield.
Sunset Inn & Suites? Sylvia Hotel ? or Airbnb ....12 months out and not many rooms available.







Jasper & Banff  both included in Key West Tour. Just will have to decide on tours once we get there. have booked Sulphur Mountain Gondala and Columbia Icefield Explorer. canadian-rockies-activities.

Rocky Mountaineer  Wow far too expensive to even consider. Just shy of $2000 pp for 2 days 1 night. Maybe will try Canadian VIA Rail Service, it is part of one of the Key West tours.  N.B..No train trip here, it just does not fit the plans and rather expensive.
