5 weeks to wait.

The research is over,  plans have been made but will probably be changed. Cruises, flights, tours and accommodation all paid in full. All that is left to do is pack and that is certainly going to be a challenge. We need clothes for hot and colder climates and as we are flying home we need to keep the weight as low as possible.

75 days.

Only 75 days til we start our 2019 adventure.
Golden cruises are paid in full. Alaska will be paid this week. Shore tours are being picked. Before I know it we will be packing.

125 Days

With only 125 days to go, it is nearly time to make final payment.  Arctic circle plane trip booked and paid for as well as Yukon train trip in Skagway.  Insurance done, I got an Annual policy which will cover this trip and Africa Cruise in 2020. Need to book for our return to Anchorage from Fairbanks.

150 days

Only 5 months away now. Have booked some shore tours. Still need to do some organising of our time in Vancouver.

200 days

The countdown has reached 200 days. Plans are coming together. Accomodation in Vancouver has reverted back to staying at the Sylvia Hotel as the Airbnb host cancelled our booking, thankfully I had not cancelled the Hotel booking.

Alaskan Cruise added

This time next year, we will be somewhere in Canada. Touring the Rockies I think.
I have now booked an Alaskan cruise, leaving from Vancouver on the 15th May on the Coral Princess.

1 Year to go

I booked a 3 nighter out of Melbourne that popped up on sale. It is on the Golden and  leaves on the 5th april, so it is 1 year today til we set sail on a 33 night total cruise.
